The first url in your members area takes people to the main site so they can find out what Yakamore is all about and how it can help them grow their business. The second url is your personal Yak link. You send people here if you want them to see what you have been yaking about. It works like Twitter but better.

Yakamore is a micro-blogging and posting site that is being developed by top level marketers to help the online business community with their Social Media advertising needs. Our goal is to provide advertising at affordable prices and enable businesses to target their audience according to specific interest groups. Yakamore is also a posting site for its sister site Sokule which helps expand the companies reach along with helping companies grow a list of targeted trackers (followers) on auto-pilot. Your posts and your emails to your trackers can be up to 500 characters long. So when a tweet at Twitter is simply not enough you need Yakamore.

You can choose from 3 different kinds of advertising at Yakamore. We offer Sponsored ads,, small aquare ads and text ads  See FAQ on each kind of ad and where it is shown.

A Sponsored Yak is the most powerful way to advertisie on Yakamore.  These are posts that show in the 3rd and the sixth position of every posting page in the members area of Yakamore and on every affiliate page (profile page) of all the members of Yakamore. You must be a member of Yakamore to purchase advertising at the site. Once you register and log in, you will see a drop down menu and one of the tiems says Advertise on Yak. You can make your advertising selection right there.

A Square Banner Ad is seen on all  profile pages at Yakamore There are 3 default small banner ads that show on each page. You can replace 1 or all of them with your own banner ad. You can see an example of these banner ads on this  page.

As an executive member of Yakamore, you get 3 additional square banner ads free. These will rotate on your own profile page as well as on the Make Yaks page which is the most popular page at the site. Your own baner ads will rotate in with the default ads and or you can choose to dispaly only your own ads and you can decide the order to display them in.

To Delete or change an ad that you have running, go to the Advertise on Yak page and you will see a link that says Manage Ads located near the type of ad that you want to edit or delete.

The Square banner ads on Yakamore are 100 by 100 pixles and they must be that exact size in order for you to enter them when you purchase one. If you have a square banner ad and need to check the size or resize it to fit, go here http://resizepic.com/   put 100 by 100 in the box that asks for resizing and it will resize it for you. Then all you do is right  click on the image and go to save picture as and save it on your desktop. Then you be able to upload it in the manage your square ad section of Yakamore which you find at the Advertise on Yak in the drop down menu.

There are two ways you can cancel your account at Yakamore. If you receive an admin mailing from us, simply click on the unsubscribe link in the email and that will cancel your Yakamore account. You can also log into your Yak account and go to the drop down menu in the members area . You will see a link to cancel my account and that will terminate your account at Yakamore.

If you are a paying member of Yakamore and wish to cancel your subscription, please contact the helpdesk through support and let them know your full name and your Yakamore username and your membership level and your account will be cancelled for you within 72 hours of notice to us.

Absolutely! As a member of Yakamore you can earn commissions when you sponsor other Yak members who upgrade. You can earn between 10% and 40% commission depending on what level you join at. Please consult the upgrade chart in the drop down menu in your members area to see which level earns what percentage. Example: If you join as an executive member you would earn 40% commission. That means if you sponsor a business yearly member you would earn $78.80, and if you sponsor an executive member you would earn $198.80.

Our first payment run will be on Friday Feb 17th. Commissions will be paid weekly after that.

You can get paid by PayPal, AlertPay or by Check. Simply enter your PayPal or AlertPay email in your members area by clicking on Profile in the drop down menu. Commissions by check will be sent to the address you enter in your profile when your total reaches $25.00. There is a $2.50 check processing fee so on $25.00 commission you will receive a check of $22.50. There is no minimum on PayPal or AlertPay and we pay weekly on any of your earnings.

Beta testing is where we put all the various parts of Yakamore under heavy load. Whenever you launch a new site glitches occur and this is a complex script. This is your chance to help us find these issues fast and make Yakamore the webs premier business friendly social media site. A Yak is a Post that you make to all of Your Trackers at Yakamore. For free members that post can be up to 180 characters long. Paid members get to post messages from 250 characters to 500 characters long. Upgraded members can actually choose the targeted group or groups they want to Yak to.

Sign in to your account, click on the blue arror to open the menu and go to settings. halfway down the page it says Profile Image and there is a browse button. Click it and search for the picture on your PC. Your image must be 100x100 pixels square and it must be in .gif .jpg or .png format - If you need to resize it first go to http://resizepic.com/

Login to your members area and click on the blue arrow at the top of the page and select the first item in the drop down menu. The upgrade link appears in orange.

Yakens are used to build lists of trackers (followers) quickly and easily. You can build a general list of trackers or a targeted list of trackers based on specific interests that users select when they signup. To buy Yakens and convert them to trackers, sign in to your members area, click on the blue arrow, select buy yakens, then select the type of trackers you want and the field of interest you wish to target.

Yakamore has 4 membership levels-Free, Basic, Business and Executive. Each level gives you access to different applications and benefits at Yakamore. You can compare the membership levels and their costs at this link http://www.yakamore.com/home/membership

A Basic Membership is a monthly payment. A Business Membership can be monthly or an annual payment. An executive Memberships is a one time, life time payment.

These are introductory prices while the site is in beta and will go up when Yakamore officially launches.

There are three different kind of notices that you will receive from Yakamore. You will get an admin mailing. This goes out once a day and you can unsubscribe from Yakamore if you do not want to receive admin mailings. There is an unsubscribe link in every admin mailing. You will alos get notices when someone tracks you at Yakamore or signs up under you at Yakamore. And when business or executive members send a mailing and you are tracking them, you will receive that mailing from the person you are tracking.

If you want to change the notices you receive and stop getting tracking notices and sign up notices and stop receiving members email, just log into your members area and go to notices and follow the instructions there to stop the notices that you do not want to receive.

Promotion tools are ads that you can use when you promote Yakamore to other people. You can use one of our solo ads, banner ads, signature ads or google ad words . These ads are found in your members area in the drop down menu under the link Promotion Tools and they already contain your Yakamore affiliate link in them. Feel free to change these ads to suit your own style. They are really meant to give you bullet points and ideas.

Sokule is a popular Social Media site on the net that lets you post to 86 Other Social Media sites like Facebook Linkedin and 84 others. It is Yakamore's Big Brother. Yakamore was developed to work hand in hand with Sokule. When you join Sokule, you are given a free account at Yakamore automatically. If you are an upgraded member of Yakamore, your post will not only be seen at Yakamore but will appear at Sokule as well. As a member of Sokule, you do not need to sign up at Yakamore. You are already a member of Yakamore. When you signed up at Sokule, we gave you a free account at Yakamore. All you need to do is to log into Yakamore with the same username and password that you use at Sokule.

A Tracker is our name for someone who following you at Yakamore. People can track you by searching you out at Yakamore. They  track you when you sign people up at Yakamore and they track you when they sign up under you at Yakamore's sister site, Sokule. You can also purchase trackers and when Yakens come to the site, you will be able to use Yakens to purchase Trackers. When you follow someone at Yakamore, you are known as tracking that person.

A Yaken is a credit that you get whenever you sign up anyone under you at Yakamore. These yakens can be used to purchase trackers in non targeted or tarageted categories. They can also be given away to other members of Yakamore to induce people to upgrade under you so that they can build their yakens account.
